  1. When will the expo be held?
    21st-25th January 2012 (Saturday to Wednesday).
  2. Opening hours?
    Visitors: from 9.30 am to 6.30 pm from 21st to 24th January
    From 3 pm to 5 pm on 25 January, ONLY visitors in possession of online tickets will be admitted to the fair, upon presentation of the following badges: Press, VIP, Trade, Product Demonstrators, or other badges containing bar codes. Printed tickets will not be accepted, nor will it be possible to enter by purchasing a full-price ticket.
  3. Can anyone who is not a trade visitor visit the expo?
    No. Trade visitors include: ice cream producers, confectioners, chocolatiers, restaurant owners in general, wholesalers, distributors, architects, fitters, press, .
  4. Are animals allowed?
    No
  5. What is the entrance fee?
    31 euro unless you hold an invitation pass (free) or a reduced-price ticket (€ 2.50). All entrance tickets are valid for 1 day for 1 person.
  6. I have my ticket already. Can I register on-line to skip the queue?
    Of course. Just visit the website www.sigep.it, click "on-line ticket" on the home page, and enter the code printed on your tickets, following the instructions. Print out your new admission pass with its bar code, and you will not need to visit the ticket counter: just go directly to the turnstiles with your printed pass.
  7. How do you sign up for Sigep Web Friend?
    Just register on-line. You´ll be signed up automatically and included in the drawing for a wide range of prizes.
  8. How do I get to Rimini?
    By road: A14 motorway, Rimini Nord exit (3 km) or Rimini Sud exit (7 km); By train: Milan-Bari line, Rimini Fiera station is 50 metres from the main entrance (station in operation every day during the expo) or Rimini Central; By air: Rimini, Forlì or Bologna airports.
  9. Which buses go to the expo?
    Routes 5, 9 and 10. The ticket costs 1 euro each way.

  11. How can I buy the catalogue?
    To purchase the Sigep 2011 catalogue contact Marilena Ventura, tel. +39 0541 744611; fax +39 0541 744507; e-mail m.ventura@riminifiera.it. The price is € 16 + postal charges.
    The Sigep 2012 catalogue will be on sale from the first day of the event (21/01/12), not earlier.

  15. Are children allowed?
    The expo is reserved exclusively for trade visitors. Nevertheless children can visit if accompanied by a parent (trade visitor with a valid pass). Up to 12 years no charge, from 13 years upwards the entrance fee is € 12.50.
  16. In previous years I received a pass to visit the expo, but this year I have received nothing. What do I do?

  17. What companies will be exhibiting at the next Sigep?

  18. What are the parking fees?
    10 euro per day for cars and motorbikes over 150 cc
    12 euro per day for campers/commercial trucks
    25 euro per day for buses
  19. Is it possible to have an advance copy of the expo map?
    No. This will be distributed free of charge on opening day at the entrances and info points.
  20. Is there an entrance fee for disabled persons?
    No. Entrance is free of charge also for the person accompanying them.
  21. I am a professor. I would like to arrange for my class to visit the expo. What do I do?
    The days on which student groups may visit the expo are Tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th January. Only the final and immediately preceding years of professional high schools are admitted (hotelier schools, professional cookery schools, .).
