Emanuele Dughera
Slowfood Coffee Coalition
Emanuele Dughera was born in Italy and currently lives in Turin. He holds a Master’s degree in Portuguese Literature and is passionate about classical opera. After a career in the cultural field, he later specialized in sustainable agricultural development, working for Slow Food International on multiple projects in Africa. He has been the coordinator of the Africa and Middle East Office at Slow Food International and has developed and implemented grassroot projects in the African continent for several years. His work there mainly focuses on rural sustainable development, school, and community gardens, as well as food security. Over the years, Emanuele has been coordinating Slow Food’s actions and projects on coffee, which has led him to create and launch the recent “Slow Food Coffee Coalition”. in partnership with Lavazza.
