Italian final of Panettone World Cup
Master pastry chefs from all over Italy meet at Sigep to compete and win the title of Italian Champion of the Panettone World Cup.
On the 23 and 24 January will be held the great event entirely dedicated to the leavened product for excellence. Born to honor the history and the processing of a product able to establish itself on the world confectionery scene, this contest has acquired over the years increasingly international characteristics.
The collaboration between the Panettone World Cup and Sigep is a clear sign of the shared commitment to promote and enhance the Italian artisan product worldwide through training sessions, masterclasses, events and national selections.
The Italian final of the Panettone World Cup will determine the pastry chefs who will have the honor of participating in the prestigious world final, scheduled in Milan from 8 to 10 November 2024.
On Tuesday, January 23, at the Choco Arena of Sigep, the challenge to decide the Italian Champion in the Traditional Panettone category will take place.
Out of 30 pastry chefs, only the top 5 who will get the approval of the prestigious jury will have the honor of representing Italy in the final of the Panettone World Cup.
On Wednesday, January 24, at the Choco Arena, the final to decree the Italian Champion in the Chocolate Panettone category will be held.
This competition will challenge 18 finalists who have passed the Italian selections. Also in this case, only the top 5 who will get the approval of the prestigious jury will have the opportunity to represent Italy in the final of the Panettone World Cup.
The award ceremony will take place on Wednesday 24 January, immediately after the conclusion of the final dedicated to chocolate panettone. On this occasion, the candidates who will stand out and get on the podium during Sigep will be officially proclaimed Italian Champions of 2024.
