Food innovation´s new frontiers´ Seeds&Chips and Italian Exhibition Group together for SIGEP and Beer Attraction

.Rimini, 22nd December 2017 . Seeds&Chips, The Global Food Innovation Summit and IEG - Italian Exhibition Group, the company founder with a merger between Rimini Fiera and Fiera di Vicenza, have inked an collaboration agreement in vista of two key appointments in the Italian and world trade fair scenario: SIGEP, International Exhibition dedicated to Artisan Gelato, Pastry and Bakery Production and the Coffee sector, and Beer Attraction, the international trade fair dedicated to speciality beers, craft beers and food for the Ho.Re.Ca. channel

In the context of the two events, Seeds&Chips and IEG will create events providing in-depth coverage on the topic of food innovation, offering start-ups and young innovators the possibility of making themselves known to a highly qualified public of trade members and professionals from all over the world.

SIGEP, will be opened on 20th January by the thematic conference ´Food service 5.0´, organized by IEG and Seeds&Chips. The session will concentrate on the various market trends and the latest international innovations, providing a complete overview of what is happening at global level.

On 21st January, the program features a pitch competition in which a selection of 10 start-ups, some of the most innovative in the food & beverage sector, will present and show their projects, competing for a final award.

The collaboration between Seeds&Chips and IEG will continue at Beer Attraction, from 17th to 20th February 2018 at Rimini expo centre. An expo area will be set up and dedicated to start-ups, a showcase concentrating the best innovations for the sectors beer and food sectors, as well as beer and beverage production technology.
On Saturday 17th, the expo will host ´Hack Beer Attraction´, a hackathon with over 50 participants fighting it out with innovative projects on the topic of beer & food; the awards ceremony will be held the following day.
