Italian Exhibition Group´s international artisan confectionery show.
from January 18th to 22nd at Rimini Expo Centre
Rimini, 24th June 2019 . The world leadership of SIGEP - the ´sweetest´ business experience on earth - the great salon of the sweet foodservice is organized by Italian Exhibition Group SIGEP . being held at Rimini Expo Centre from 18th to 22nd January. The protagonists of the 5 chains on show will meet at the entire sweet food service world in an integrating logic: gelato, pastry, artisan bakery, coffe world and chocolate.
Contents of international business, large scale events and advanced training are the hallmarks of SIGEP, with a focus on innovation, in the South hall, a sort of think-tank where the speakers and opinion leaders will represent future visions of the sector.
The 41st SIGEP will be enriched by the simultaneously held A. B. Tech Expo (6th International Exhibition of Technologies and Products for Bakery, Pastry and Confectionery).
2020´s TOP EVENTS
The Gelato Arena will host the Gelato World Cup, the world´s most important artisan gelato competition, now at its ninth edition, with 12 teams competing from all over the world. In the Pastry Arena, there will be The Star of Sugar (with tests on sugar sculpture and take-away sweets), the Italian Pastry Championships and SIGEP Giovani, a contest of excellence between training schools. The Coffee Arena will host seven Italian Barista Championships dedicated to coffee, all valid for access to the world championships of the prestigious World Coffee Events circuit, whereas the Bakery Arena will concentrate on ´Bread in the City´ International Bread Baking Contest. 1,300 eventS, with the topic of across-the-board training at all the appointments and a central focus in the SIGEP Academy, where it will be possible to meet great masters and discover in advance new products and the latest technology.
AMBASSADOR OF ITALIAN-MADE PRODUCTS WORLDWIDE
The sweet foodservice market is international. And SIGEP takes Italian excellence worldwide and brings the world´s top to Italy. The 2019 road map is busy: after the Gelato festival´s stops in Miami, Florence, Rome, Turin, Milan, Okinawa and Barcelona, SIGEP went to the National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago and began touring again June with the Gelato festival in Berlin, Boston and Warsaw. Than on to Vienna and London, passing through Berlin´s World of Coffee. In August, the Gelato Festival will visit Chicago and Yokohama, then in September on to Washington DC and West Hollywood Los Angeles, with a participation in Las Vegas, on the occasion of the IBIE-International Baking Industry Exposition.
