Rimini, 21stDecember 2021. The Sigep . The Dolce World Expo layout has been organized to obtain maximum efficiency of the spaces inside the various halls at Rimini Expo Centre. Italian Exhibition Group provides areas for business meetings and workshops to all Italian and international companies physically gathered at the Show from 22nd to 26th January.
The event will occupy all the halls at Rimini Expo Centre subdivided into Sigep´s five sectors: gelato, pastry, chocolate, bakery and coffee. The 2022 edition will be flanked by the digital platform, accessible from the sigep.it website.
Located in the South Hall, in the very centre of Rimini Expo Centre, is Vision Plaza, a venue for talks and conferences of international standing held by experts from the Foodservice world, such as the NPD Group.
The various halls will host leading companies in the sector of ingredients, technologies, furnishings, packaging, decorations and services for the five supply chains and will be divided as follows: 12 halls (A3-A4-A5-A6-A7-C1-C2-C3-C4-C5-C6-C7) for the gelato supply chain; 5 halls (A1-A2-D1-D2-D3) will host the coffee sector; 1 entire hall, B3, will be dedicated to chocolate; 10 halls will group together the pastry and bakery supply chain.
The Gelato Arena, hall C2, will host the ´Sigep Gelato d´Oro´ during which the pastry chefs and gelato makers who will compete in the Gelato European Cup in 2023 will be selected and then, the winners of that will take part in the Gelato World Cup.
The Pastry Arena, Hall B5, will stage a programme of events dedicated to high-level pastry-making with meetings organised by the associations AMPI - Academy of Italian Master Confectioners, Conpait - Confederation of Italian Confectioners, the Academy of Italian Mother Yeast and Panettone, SCA Italy - Italian Specialty Coffee Association and IILA - International Italo-Latin American Organisation, the Cast Alimenti schools, Pollenzo University of Gastronomic Sciences and Johnson & Wales University, and media partners Pasticceria Internazionale, Punto It, Italian Gourmet, Dolcesalato and Dolcegiornale.
The Coffee Arena, Hall D1, will see baristas and coffee professionals compete in the Italian Barista Championships Area for the Barista, Brewers Cup and Cup Tasters categories.
The Bakery Arena, Hall B6, will host demos and talks with international guests and special training sessions for the 30th edition of Sigep Giovani.
