The competition, in its first edition, is reserved for students of Hotelier Institutes and Professional Food Training Centres, and is named in memory of Vittorio Bartyan, owner of Telme and Past-President of Acomag.
The aim of the initiative is to promote the Gelato production among young students, stimulate their creativity and make them more familiar with the world of Gelato.
The subject of the competition is the free interpretation of the theme: ‘Ice cream: a passion that knows no limits’, in the following disciplines
- preparation, decoration and presentation of a Gelato dish - cooking
- preparation of a crêpe with Gelato - dining
- preparation of a cocktail with Gelato - bar
The competition
The competition will consist of two main stages: the regional selections and the national final.
The regional selections will be supervised by a commission specially appointed by the G.A., which will be in charge of assessing and selecting the Institutes that will access the national final.
The national final will be held on 22 January 2025 in Rimini, during the 46th edition of Sigep World, in the Gelato Arena space (Hall A7).
The award ceremony will be held at 3 p.m.
