What is Buyers' Program

The Buyers’ Program is a specific program developed and designed for selected top buyers.

Participating in the Buyers’ Program at SIGEP you will have the chance to:

  • Meet representatives from the world’s leading gelato and confectionery artisan producers and have access to new exciting business opportunities.
  • Discover all the supply chain processes involved in the bakery sector, from dough and production to packaging.
  • Meet the most prestigious companies in the coffee world and explore the pizza sector.
  • Keep up-to-date with trends and visions presented by the sectors’ top experts and opinion leaders.
  • Use our exclusive online PlatformMy Agenda” that will allow you to preview the exhibitors’ list and schedule meetings with them before SIGEP.

 

What the program offers

The Buyers’ Program offers reserved services to our selected buyers:

 

  • Contribution to the accomodation.
  • Airport transfers: organized transfers from Bologna/Rimini airport to the hotel and back.
  • Daily On-site transfers: daily shuttle service to and from the fairground.
  • Vip badge access: exclusive VIP badge, that grants the priority access to the event and to our exclusive Buyers Lounge with some dedicated services.
  • On-site lunch: lunch buffet in a dedicated area.
  • Interpreting service: interpreting service for non-fluent English speakers.
  • Dedicated support: both in the lead-up to the event and throughout your time at SIGEP from the IEG Team.
  • Matchmaking platform: exclusive access to our matchmaking platform with the ability to view exhibitor profiles in advance and schedule meetings that will be held directly at the expo.

 

Who can attend

The program is reserved for professionals who have decisional power in purchasing processes (purchasing managers, food&beverage managers, owners, and food brokers) in the following categories:

 

  • Importers of machinery/technology/ingredients (raw materials, finished and semi-finished products) for Gelato, Pastry and Chocolate, Coffee, Bakery and Pizza;
  • Owners and/or managers or purchasing managers chains of gelato shops, pastry shops, bakery shops, coffee shops, restaurants, hotels, pizza restaurants/pizza shops;
  • Buying groups;
  • Manufacturing companies (industries and workshops) of Gelato, Pastry, Bakery, Chocolate, and finished products (sweet and savory);
  • Catering for airlines companies, cruise ships, mass catering.
