A SIGEP Academy project dedicated to professional pastry institutes. Creativity, technique, teamwork: SIGEP Giovani is the competition that rewards students' passion and shines a spotlight on the best emerging talents in Italian artisanal confectionery. For 35 years, SIGEP has been supporting youth education, promoting school education projects at the fair, with training initiatives, internships, and competitions. SIGEP Giovani is an initiative carried out in collaboration with "Pasticceria Internazionale", SIGEP exhibiting companies, hotel schools, and professional institutes from all over Italy, to promote training and offer students the opportunity to put into practice the knowledge and skills learned at school. Created to enhance the new generations of confectionery professionals, SIGEP Giovani is the educational-competitive project of SIGEP Academy, designed to involve schools and stimulate excellence even in the classroom. Every year, hotel and pastry professional institutes from all over Italy are invited to challenge themselves with original ideas, technical skills, and team spirit, measuring themselves in a multi-stage journey that culminates in the prestigious showcase of SIGEP.
