The competition consists of preparing, in a maximum time of 15 minutes, 4 espressos, 4 hot milk-based coffee beverages, and 4 personalized non-alcoholic espresso-based beverages, to be served to a jury composed of expert tasting judges. The rules of the competition are the same as those of the WBC (World Barista Championship), a true "Barista Olympics". The championship is valid for the WBC (World Barista Championship).
