The Talent of the Future Takes Center Stage
A project by SIGEP Academy dedicated to professional pastry schools. Creativity, technique, teamwork: SIGEP Giovani is the competition that celebrates students' passion and shines a spotlight on the best emerging talents in Italian artisanal pastry. For 35 years, SIGEP has supported youth education, promoting school-based educational projects at the fair through training initiatives, internships, and competitions. SIGEP Giovani is an initiative carried out in collaboration with Pasticceria Internazionale, SIGEP’s exhibiting companies, hospitality schools, and professional institutes from all over Italy. Its goal is to promote education and offer students the opportunity to put into practice the knowledge and skills acquired in school. Created to enhance the new generation of pastry professionals, SIGEP Giovani is the educational-competitive project of SIGEP Academy, designed to engage schools and stimulate excellence right from the classroom. Every year, hospitality and pastry schools across Italy are invited to take part with original ideas, technical skills, and a spirit of collaboration, competing in a multi-phase journey that culminates in the prestigious showcase of SIGEP.
