Edurne Uranga, Vice President of Foodservice Europe at Circana, spoke at SIGEP Vision to analyze the key trends transforming the foodservice industry.

During the talk "Global Trends and Future Scenarios of the Gelato and Foodservice Industry" she presented data and insights outlining a constantly evolving landscape.

 

Circana highlighted how European spending on ready-to-eat products has grown significantly, increasing from €12.3 billion in 2020 to €18.1 billion by June 2024.

This trend presents new challenges for restaurants, which must differentiate themselves in an increasingly competitive market through two strategic drivers: Sustainability and Innovation.
