Lucia De Luca

Lucia De Luca, born in 1987.

She grew up on the outskirts of Rome immersed in nature. Green, surrounding her childhood. She studied graphics, design and temporary spaces in Rome. Moves to Copenhagen in 2011 for a master's degree in landscape architecture and urban spaces. He began collaborating with a few studios, but soon realised that the only way to raise people's awareness about respecting nature is through and by means of food. Food understood as a communication tool, message vehicle and cultural medium. That is why, together with Valerio, he founded il__mattarello - artisanal and organic pasta factory with kitchen - in Copenhagen in 2014. And so the first seed germinates. Lucia together with Valerio, narrate and pay homage to traditions and knowledge, to keep their cultural heritage alive, proudly preserving the Italian heritage every day.

Meanwhile, she deepens her studies on catering, hospitality, wine and non-alcoholic drinks. Thus, in 2017, they founded Tèrra, a sustainable, zero-waste restaurant. Lucia is all about welcoming, hosting, pampering and storytelling. Stories that are born around a table. In the strictest sense of conviviality.
