Senior professional with a Doctor of Philosophy – Ph.D. focused in Economic Development Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, (MIT) US and a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University.

Experienced senior consultant with a demonstrated history of successfully working internationally. Skilled in sustainability and environmental policies as well as economic instruments, finance and budgeting, negotiation, corporate social responsibility, strategic management, and applied research with strong analytical skills.

Professional experience:

Socio-economic Secretary at the International Organización IILA Italo-Latin American Institute. 

Director at the Institute for the International Education of Students (IES Abroad), managing the program "Social and Environmental Change in Costa Rica";

Dean of the Faculty of Economic Sciences at ULACIT;

Directed student research teams. Taught economics, social and environmental issues, and eco-efficiency management at INCAE Business School, 

Worked as well in other international schools such as Harvard, MIT, Stanford and Zurich Tech., leading teams of students and professionals working with NGOs, governments and the private sector promoting investments in sustainable development projects in such complex places as Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, United States of America, Galapagos, Mexico, Paraguay, Spain, Switzerland, and Italy.

Designed and participated in many international workshops. Co-published four books in Spanish and English, and wrote numerous articles in books and journals. Bilingual English-Spanish.
