Event
A cup of single-origin coffee can be a sensory journey through the geography of the country it is coming from. Mountains, lakes, plateaus and, yes, even growing and processing techniques influence the taste in the final cup. A taste that the bean preserves along its entire journey and ends up in the cup we drink every day. Thanks to the partnership between the Kenyan and the Italian governments, a joint intervention is working on the entire coffee value chain, focusing on the organizational and management aspects of the cooperatives, including the coffee marketing; all this to ensure a fairer and higher-quality cup of coffee. During the event, the speakers will show how geography influences the taste of the coffee we drink, through an interactive tasting involving the attending audience.
