China took the top step of the podium in the 6th edition of ‘Bread In The City - Bakery World Cup’, the prestigious international competition celebrating the art of baking. Second place went to Spain, followed by Italy, which finished in third place.
The event, organised in collaboration with the Richemont Club Italy, saw the participation of seven teams from all over the world: China, Japan, Greece, Italy, Mexico, Peru and Spain. Each team, consisting of two candidates and a coach, competed in five different tests:
- Ciabatta and Special Breads
- Free Loaves
- Viennoiserie
- Baking Cakes
- Savoury Presentation
