SIGEP WORLD 2025: a beacon of solidarity and social commitment

SIGEP WORLD 2025 has once again proven to be a shining example of solidarity and social engagement, achieving unprecedented results.

The solidarity initiatives of this past edition exceeded all expectations, highlighting the importance of tangible actions to support local communities and foster a culture of sharing.
 

Gelato della Solidarietà (Solidarity Gelato)
 

Thanks to the "Gelato della Solidarietà" initiative, 80 quintals of gelato were collected, with most of it sold for charity at the "I Malatesta" shopping center.

This extraordinary achievement was made possible by the crucial support of the exhibiting companies and Summertrade, which provided 1,000 one-kilogram thermal boxes and 500 food containers.
 

SIGEP Solidale (SIGEP Solidarity)

Alongside the success of Gelato della Solidarietà, the SIGEP Solidale initiative also recorded outstanding results. Over 9,000 kilograms of food were collected and distributed to various charitable associations in the region. The donated items included:

• Milk, cream, coffee, biscuits, colombe, panettone, brioches, bread, and pizza.

• Chocolate, fruits, vegetables, meat, flour, oil, beverages, and other essential food supplies.

The beneficiary organizations of this significant collection included:

• Mensa dei Poveri

• Caritas Rimini

• Papa Giovanni XXIII

• Comunità Monte Tauro
   

The crucial contribution of students and volunteers

A key factor in the success of the initiative was the involvement of 88 students from the Viserba Linguistic High School, who participated through a school-work alternation program. Their daily commitment, together with that of numerous volunteers, ensured the efficient collection, packaging, and distribution of the food supplies.
