Gelato Day, Vincenzo Squatrito signs the ‘Hallelujah’ flavour with roasted hazelnuts and chocolate

Gianduia with roasted hazelnuts and a variegation of pure chocolate. The eagerly awaited flavour of the year ‘Hallelujah’ was announced at SIGEP World, the recipe star of Gelato Day 2025 and dedicated to the Jubilee.

 


It was created by Vincenzo Squatrito of ‘Ritrovo Orchidea’ in Olivieri (Messina) in a contest that saw as many as 30 master gelato makers from all over Europe compete at SIGEP World. Gelato Day 2025, we would like to remind you, scheduled for 24 March next, wanted by Longarone Fiere and Artglace and dedicated exclusively by the European Parliament to a food recognised as the heritage of the entire supply chain, is sponsored by the Ministry for Evangelisation and Masaf (Minister for Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry). And thanks to the contest, ‘Hallelujah’ will be present in all European gelato parlours taking part in Gelato Day.
